Jai Kisaan Diwas

1. In keeping with the spirit of ‘Farmer First’, we celebrate Jai Kisaan Diwas on 23rd December, the day dedicated to the farmers of India by Govt. of India as ‘Farmers Day’ to commemorate the birth anniversary of former India’s Prime Minister, Ch. Charan Singh.
2. The event is celebrated across India in all Adventz marketing territories, with active participation of farmers, channel partners, scientists from KVKs/Agri Dept/Universities and company officials.
3. This year, the Jai Kisaan Divas was celebrated at 157 places in all our marketing territories with equal fervor. The programs were attended by 10807 farmers, 3187 progressive farmers, 246 channel partners and 356 retailers. At each place, scientists from KVK/Agri Dept./University were invited and crop specific technical guidance imparted to farmers.
4. Senior company officials highlighted the need for balanced fertilization, improving the organic carbon content of the soil and the solutions available with Adventz through the diversified Jai Kisaan product range.
5. Leading farmers of the area graced the dais and presented their success stories to the fellow farmers. A total of 750 progressive farmers were felicitated during the programme.
