Across the rural landscape of India, ex-servicemen are held in high esteem by the villagers and they act as guides & mentors to the village youth. Many ex-servicemen take up farming after retirement and bring a disciplined approach to the field work.

On the occasion of our 75th Independence Day, Adventz celebrated ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisaan’ events across India by felicitating ‘Soldier Farmers’ – successful farmers who have been ex-servicemen – in recognition of their contribution in providing security to the nation during service and working towards food security post retirement.

While taking due precautionary measures for Covid-19 as per local authority guidelines, the Team Jai Kisaan celebrated 117 Jai Jawan Jai Kisaan events across India. During these events, 156 ‘Soldier-Farmers’ were felicitated as a token of appreciation for their contribution in agriculture.
