This toll-free helpline, provides guidance and support to the farmers regarding their day-to-day farming problems. Through this service, the consultants not only receive calls but also proactively follow-up with the farmers for adoption of latest farming techniques. SMS-based alerts on key seasonal requirements are also sent to the specialised growers. Beyond the telephonic communication, visits of consultants to farmers’ field are also arranged for interaction during organised farmers’ training sessions.
